Take Off From the Airport in your Car

A company, Terrafugia, Inc., is designing a car called the Transition that you can drive to the airport then take off and fly to your destination. Cool but I imagine the first models will be quite expensive.Terrafugia, Inc. is developing the Transition™. The Transition™ is a road-able aircraft in that will be able to land at the airport, fold up its wings, and drive on the road. Company website is here.
