It continues to amaze me how the west continues to surrender free speech and essentially freedom in the face of some protests by Islamofacists. The US MSM continues its silence and hides in fear.

Italy's minister resigns over cartoons row
ROME (Reuters) - Italy's Reforms Minister Roberto Calderoli resigned on Saturday following deadly clashes in Libya over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad that he had made into T-shirts and wore on state television, a spokesman said.
"I have resigned," Ansa news agency quoted Calderoli as saying.

Libyans Riot Over Prophet Cartoon; 10 Dead

TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) - Libyans set fire to the Italian consulate in a riot that left at least 10 people dead, the bloodiest protest yet against the Prophet Muhammad cartoons that have roiled the Muslim world.

Most of the protests have been in Muslim countries, but on Saturday more than 10,000 people turned out for a march in London, many arriving in buses from cities around Britain.

The protesters gathered in Trafalgar Square where speaker after speaker denounced the cartoons, first published in a Danish newspaper last September then reprinted in European papers in recent weeks in the name of press freedom. Read More
